Seun is a freelance writer.

She has written features, news stories and investigative pieces for a variety of outlets including gal-dem, The Independent, Politics Home, Metro, Cosmpolitan and Glamour magazine.

Her work mainly focuses on race, religion, history and politics.

Seun was shortlisted for two awards at the inaugural UK Freelance Writing Awards and was also shortlisted in the social affairs, diversity and inclusion category at the 2021 Press Gazette British Journalism awards.

Seun is also a broadcaster. She has presented a video interview series for the University of Oxford Law Faculty since 2021.

In the series, Seun interviews global changemakers including Harvard University Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr and Edwin Cameron, former justice of the South African Constitutional Court.

In 2024 Seun produced and presented a five-episode podcast series for BBC Sounds called Seun’s Talking Drum. The series focusses on British West African identity and includes a wide array of guests including Nobel Prize winner Wole Soyinka.
